3817 Sentri Black™ works as a printing black to achieve super soft hand prints.
3817 Sentri Black™ promotes excellent penetration into fabrics when printing through fine mesh counts, and is excellent for all-over prints.
3817 Sentri Black™ provides a deep black color that looks and feels similar to waterbase prints and is excellent for all-over prints.
3817 Sentri Black™ will spot dry, with a very low after flash tack. Dwell time is dependent on the spot dryer used. In some cases, you may have to lower the heat of the spot cure unit because too much heat may actually make the ink tacky. When you spot dry, you are only partially fusing or gelling the surface of the ink. The ink should be just dry to the touch, with no lift off, but not totally fused. Totally fusing the underprint may cause inter-coat adhesion problems with the inks printed on top. Final fusing or curing will occur in the dryer. Failure to fuse ink properly may cause cracking, poor adhesion and poor wash fastness.
3817 Sentri Black™ is not a color-mixing black ink.
3817 Sentri Black™ is intended to be used as is, without any other modifcations.
Fibrillation can occur when printing on some cotton fabrics, especially when printing the 3817 Sentri Black™ through finer mesh counts.
Test dryer temperatures and wash test printed product before and during a production run.
3817 Sentri Black™ is a finished, ready-to-use ink and should be used distinctly on the garment with little or no modifications.
Always test print the fabric to be used before beginning production to see if the desired perfomance is obtained.
